Peter Senez, M.Eng., P.Eng.

Peter Senez is a professional engineer with 25 years of experience in fire protection engineering. He is well practiced in complex transportation matters pertaining to road and rail tunnels throughout Canada and internationally.
He has extensively studied material fire properties relative to use in buildings and in transportation systems particularly as it relates to ignition and fire spread. He is currently doing research on fuel volatility and ventilation-limited fires at the University of Waterloo, while continuing to practice as a fire consultant.
Peter is the Chair of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers Subcommittee on Research and Innovation and is also the chair of the SFPE Foundation.
