The Certified Professional (CP) program is an alternative building permit process that allows CP registered engineers or architects to take on the review and inspection responsibilities on behalf of the municipalities that participate in the CP program.

The CP process can provide substantial benefits in time savings on building and occupancy permits, the ability to stage permits, and potential refunds on building permit application fees.

Our CP service offering is bolstered by our depth of knowledge and experience in the complexities as well as the historical development of both the Building and Fire Codes. Senez Consulting can also provide additional consulting services to further assist the project.

The CP program is jointly administered by Engineers & Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC) and the Architectural Institute of British Columbia (AIBC). The CP program is currently utilized within the following municipalities and nations:
