Keon is a fourth year mechanical engineering student at the University of Waterloo currently completing a co-op work term. His previous work terms have been completed in fire research laboratories, where he gained experience related to small and large scale fire testing, fire modelling, data analysis, and WUI risk. Keon is now looking to gain experience in code consulting and further develop his skills in fire modelling with the intention to join the fire protection industry full time once he completes his studies.

Kellye has over thirty years of experience in a wide variety of positions in sectors including education and healthcare and holds a bachelor’s degree in history. Her experience includes managerial positions, budgeting, staff supervision, and customer service. Currently, Kellye provides administrative support to the Vice President of US operations and the US technical team. Responsibilities include federal contract pursuits, HR policy review and administration, business development, general marketing and customer service.

After receiving a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, Jordan went on to work as a Junior Consultant in fire protection engineering. His experience and knowledge lie in the essential engineering fundamentals and understanding of the project and product development processes. Jordan has developed a knowledge basis of dynamic solid body systems, machine design, HVAC systems, fluid mechanics, and thermodynamics. His interests also include automotive mechanics and metalwork stemming from formal and self-driven education. As a registered Engineer-In-Training, Jordan takes part in several ongoing projects to assist the SenezCo team and provides his knowledge where needed.

Joelle is a professional engineer who comes to SenezCo with over 23 years of experience in fire protection. She has comprehensive experience in all aspects of fire protection and life safety in EV automotive manufacturing, battery manufacturing, battery recycling and nuclear facilities, as well as commercial, educational, and warehouse facilities. Her expertise includes permitting and interfacing with AHJs, hazardous material programs, high-pile storage design and permitting, fire testing and fire modeling, and extensive experience with alternate means of compliance writing and acceptance (AMoC or AMM).

Geoff has worked as a professional building code and fire protection consultant in the design/construction industry for over 30 years, accumulating an extensive array of experience on all building types. He has had the opportunity to consult on and contribute to many of the leading examples of architectural design excellence and innovation projects in British Columbia.

Specific industry sectors that Geoff is involved with as building code consultant/advisor include mixed-use residential, mass-timber infill, cultural/First Nations, museums and museum research/archive facilities, institutional, recreational/sport, government/AHJ-related services and existing building/heritage projects. As a long-time mass timber/wood building advocate and specialty building code consultant, Geoff continues to pursue the advancement of these sustainable construction materials in modern building codes and new building designs.

Corey is a senior fire protection consultant with over 15 years of experience in the fire protection industry. He has served on technical committees and managed several multimillion-dollar projects. Mr. Hanks has experience in firefighting, emergency preparedness, and disaster response. His involvement includes responding to various fires, medical, and hazardous materials incidents, and response planning. 

Corey has worked in the construction industry for more than 20 years on various residential, commercial, and industrial projects. As a subject matter expert in the fire protection industry, he was instrumental in overseeing code compliance for the various projects he worked on.
