In such situations, it is necessary to bring the case forward to a Building Code Commission Hearing. The mandate of the Building Code Commission, pursuant to the Building Code Act, is to hold hearings and make decisions to resolve disputes between affected parties concerning the sufficiency of compliance with the technical requirements of the Building Code.
